WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT A CANDIDATE IS NOT FITTING IN WITH COMPANY CULTURE?
"You may find a great candidate, but if they don't fit in, they could become a costly turnover statistic." What do you mean by a candidate not fitting in with the company's culture? Does one have to fit in, or can they stand out and be themselves? Can you give me an example of not fitting in that could cause a costly turnover? Thank you.
If you interviewed a candidate who list honesty and high ethics as priorities and your company tends to bend the rules, this person would not be a long-term hire. Or if you hire someone who lists growth and development as a priority and your company offers no growth or personal development opportunities, this person would quit. Another example would be someone who prefers to work independently and accepts a job with a manager who micro-manages. Again this is not a fit.
